EU-Au twinning activities: seminar focused on the integration of high temperature CO2 sorbents systems in power and industrial plants

A pillar of the ASCENT project is the cooperation with Australian partners (CO2CRC and Australian national University). The collaboration activities in terms of exchange of information, exchange of researchers, will define common starting points and boundary conditions for economic evaluation of SER, Ca/Cu, and CShift processes to be investigated in the other work packages. In this framework Matteo Romano, responsible of benchmarking activities in the ASCENT project, will visit the laboratory of CO2CRC in Sydney and will have the possibility to access the database developed by the research group of Dianne Wiley. A common methodology for the economic analyses of the ASCENT technologies integrated in power plants will be assessed. Matteo will give the seminar “Integration of high temperature CO2 sorbents systems in power and industrial plants for carbon capture and storage (CCS): opportunities and challenges” at the University of Sydney on the 5th May 2016, where the Ascent project will be presented.
