Ascent Project
Final Project meeting

As part of the grant 608512, the final meeting of the project Advanced Solids Cycle with Efficient Novel Technologies (ASCENT) has been held at the Technical University of Eindhoven on the 23-24 January 2018

The main topics addressed during the meeting were focused on management, cooperation with Australian partners and technical aspects of the project. The meeting had the primary objective to review the progress of the project as a whole and within each single work package. To this end, the event has been divided into two rounds: in the first day, general considerations have been given in order to keep everyone informed on the progress of the project with regards to the material manufacturing. The second day was focused on the modelling and experimental results obtained at proof-of-concept scale.

A special session was dedicated to the Australian cooperation where the Executive Director of Calix Limited Australia, Eng. Mark Sceats, has reported the latest results within the EU-Australia collaboration. Click here for more details on the Australian cooperation.

The research leading to these results has received funding from the European Union Seventh Framework Programme  FP7 under grant agreement n° 608512
