Ascent Project
ASCENT project seminars to disseminate research findings in Australia

The cooperation between European and Australian researchers promoted by the ASCENT consortium has been strengthened. A number of seminars related to the ASCENT project has been presented by Dr Matthew Boot-Handford from Imperial College of London. See the details of these events how are articulated:

  • 31st October to 15th December: Visiting Scholar in the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) invited by Nick Florin;
  • 10th November 2016: Distinguished seminar at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and meeting with May Lim (UNSW), Mark Sceats and Phil Hodgson (Calix) and Nick Florin (UTS) to discuss ASCENT focused and future collaborative efforts;
  • 18th November 2016: Visiting Calix Flash Calcination Pilot Plant in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria;
  • 10th December 2016: Distinguished seminar at Sydney University (USyd) followed by a meeting with Dianne Wiley and Minh Ho who are working on the techno-economic assessment of ASCENT technologies.
